Possible character traits of Chihuahua and Poodle mix - Such is probably his nature.

Introducing the Chi-Poo: a cross between a Chihuahua and a Poodle. This crossbreed first became popular in Australia and the United Kingdom, and is now a popular pet in the United States as well. Chi-Poos are intelligent and easy to train, making them an ideal pet for first-time dog owners or those looking for a small, low-maintenance companion.

Chi-Poos have usually inherited the best traits of both their parents. They are alert and active like Chihuahuas, but tend to be less yappy. They also have the hypoallergenic coat of the Poodle, which can be either curly or smooth. With an average life expectancy of 12-15 years, this mixed breed is also relatively healthy.

Because of their small size, Chi-Poos are well suited for city living. They do well in apartments and other small spaces as long as they get daily exercise. These pups are also relatively low maintenance, but will need to be brushed regularly to prevent matting.

Although they do well with children and other pets, Chi-Poos may be too small for very young children.
